I first met Tiara Silvente, a bubbly personality, at a corporate event "Hub Mobility Impact Forum" by Hub Institute and very quickly we got along well. Few months later, after various failed tentatives, we finally managed to meet again and Tiara, being vegan, opted for a vegan bakery. That's how I discovered Land&Monkeys located at 85 rue Raymond Losserand, Paris, 75014, France. And I decided to start my very first post with this place. Why? Because the meeting with Tiara was super good and promising. She introduced her very young association, Beyond Fears Club, that promotes mental health in a positive and conscious way, and together we agreed that I'll be joining the association as Head of Partnerships while working on a series of podcasts under the theme "Work x Mental Health". I am so motivated and thrilled about the work at the association and the podcasts, that I decided to come back to this vegan place with my laptop and work from here. And also, because they have a very delicious pistachio cookie called "Chimp Cookie". Yummy !
So today, I am going to assess this place from work perspectives if you ever consider to take your laptop and work from there :
Overall Note Work Made Good From : 6/10
WiFi : Yes
Comfort : No (chairs and tables not adopted for remote work)
Plug access : Yes, but not from all the spots
Quiet : not really, it's still a bakery
Laptop Restriction : No, you can use your laptop in a free way
Benchmark Matcha Latte index = 6€
Pet friendly : yes
Price : free access, but you have to consume
Meeting room or phone booth : no
Toilet : yes
Plus : responsible 100% vegan bakery
Minus : ok for 30min, max 1h work, but not the natural spot you'd go to if you have serious continued work
